lemon yoghurt cake

I love watching the Discovery channel. Especially Travel &Living because they have cooking shows which I adore. They are making a lemon tart; they all look so gorgeous and professional! It reminds me of the lemon-yoghurt cake I made a week or so ago with my friend Wallace(while Skype-ing with the boyfriend - girls that can cook are meant to be impressive and sexy right?). I am not much of a cook and it turned out well so it seems to be a decent, safe recipe for the fearful non-cook... It may turn out to look more like a loaf but tastes good none the less! You could slather it in Betty Crocker's icing which seems to make everything taste even better. I sometimes even buy a tub to dip my finger in now and again when I pass by the fridge feeling for something sweet. A nasty habit of mine.

Here is the simplified version of the recipe which should be easy enough to follow and concise.
Thought I'd share it - I am quite proud of anything I bake that turns out well!

not ready for me

I will love you
until there is nothing left to love...

whenever I sleep in late, I feel overwhelmed by lethargy. my body is creaking, I am growing old before my time.
I have been sleeping badly recently.
my hair is a disaster.

I am dressed very slouchily today; I'll wait for dark before I dress properly.
pass me the cigarette, buy me a shot, I am going to forget about him tonight.
I am wearing: Mango play-shorts, Pull &Bear tank-top dress

let me roll over and fall into oblivion, the day is not ready for me yet.

excursion &Ikea food

we are children of sun, laughter and colour.

todays clothing ensemble...
Mango jeans, River Island shoes, Zara tee &vintage bag

here's a close-up of the shoes. I like these socks, they are one step lower than ankle ones (they don't really show much at all)

there is the buckle on the strap of the vintage bag.
I got it for abou $13USD at a fleamarket, pretty good right!
it is so vintage I had to super-glue part of it together but I don't regret buying it at all!
a small price to pay for something I like alot.

the only accessory item I wore today - a ring I picked up for about $2USD at a fleamarket in Switzerland. as you can see I've painted my nails, not sure I like the colour too much.
I really want this dark blue nail polish from Chanel.

I went on a day-long excursion with Sara, we were in the middle of no where.
the orange benches at the bus stop are so ugly.
we wound up at an Ikea where we got food.
I adore the mini fish burgers from the kids meal! Tasty tasty.

I adore Sara's bag(from Topshop)! it always adds vibrancy to whatever she wears.

dark-haired girls

when it comes to rating, I think I generally rate dark-haired girls higher.
Even moreso if their eyes are light.... Here are my favourites:

Adriana Lima

Megan Fox
she looked incredible in the latest Transformers movie! she has 7tattoos... I love how she said she'd leave Hollywood for good if she ever lost a role because of them.

Daisy Lowe
the pairing of the dark, masculine blazer-coat with the soft pleated skirt is genius.
&I adore her hair in this picture.

Zooey Deschanel

Jessica Szohr
(she looks so much better with the straight hair)
I love the way she has tucked her loose shirt into her jeans.
